劇情簡介
艾利斯佛萊契（休葛蘭 飾）是個過氣的八零年代流行巨星，如今往往
只能在懷舊巡迴演唱會獻唱，但就連這樣的邀約機會都越來越少了。
某天，突然從天上掉下來一個翻身良機，爆紅的流行小天后蔻拉不但
向他邀歌，同時提議一起合唱並錄音。艾利斯當然不會放過這個大好
機會，只是得先解決一個問題─他已經好幾年沒寫歌了，更要命的
是，他根本不會寫歌詞。
艾利斯只剩幾天可以寫歌，如果沒寫成，他也別想重返流行歌壇了。
此時繆斯女神登場，怪怪美女蘇菲（茱兒芭莉摩 飾）簡直就是個作詞
天才，對用字遣句擁有相當敏銳的直覺，和艾利斯的邂逅，深深觸動
她的心弦，而她也燃起艾利斯對創作的信心…。雖然兩人在鋼琴前的
合作，擦出神奇的化學效應，但蘇菲卻害怕再談感情，特別是看來很
像花心蘿蔔的艾力克斯。他們將如何面對彼此的恐懼，並在音樂中找
到答案呢？
其他卡司包括飾演艾力克斯的經紀人，以電視劇「大家都愛雷蒙」獲
得艾美獎最佳男配角獎的布萊德嘉瑞特、電視劇「ER」克莉絲汀強絲
頓飾演蘇菲的妹妹倫達、坎培爾史考特則飾演蘇菲的前男友小說家，
以及新生代演員海莉班奈特飾演年輕的流行歌手天后卡羅柯曼。
